About Gravhound Guides

Gravhound Guides is an independent guide site for GRAVHOUNDS, the co-op action builder from Octopus Panic. It is written and maintained by a small editorial team that plays the game, tests the systems, and publishes what holds up in a real run.

The site is not affiliated with Octopus Panic, Valve, or Microsoft. GRAVHOUNDS and all related marks belong to their respective owners. Game images are used for commentary and identification.

How guides are made

Every page starts from the game itself: the build on Steam, the in-game tooltips, and the patch notes. Claims about numbers, unlocks, or mechanics are checked against the official store page, official patch notes, or a hands-on session. When a feature is unannounced, the page says so instead of guessing — the crossplay guide is the clearest example.

Base layouts and tier lists are opinions built from testing, not datamined spreadsheets. They are labelled as recommendations and updated when a patch changes the math.

Corrections

Early Access games change weekly. If a page is out of date or a number is wrong, email hello@gravhound.wiki with the page URL and the correction. Verified fixes are applied to the page and noted in its last-updated date.

Independence and funding

The site is funded by display advertising. Ads never influence rankings, recommendations, or review coverage. No publisher pays for placement, and no guide is sponsored unless a page says so at the top.
